SERIALS IN THE JOURNALISM LIBRARY

An Annotated List of Currently Received Journals, 2005

Compiled and edited by: Eleanor S. Block, Associate Professor and Head, Journalism Library

The following list was compiled during the Summer and Fall of 2004. Included are almost all serial publications housed in the Journalism Library. All of the titles listed here are print publications although electronic versions may also be available. Those serials offered solely in electronic format and most annual publications are omitted.

Since serial subscriptions may be cancelled or discontinued at any time throughout the year and additional titles relevant to journalism/communication and film are introduced monthly always consult OSCAR for a definitive record.

Included in this list of alphabetically arranged titles are official titles, frequency of publication, Library of Congress call number, and a brief descriptive annotation. Those journals available in both a print and an electronic version are designated with an asterisk (*) adjacent to the title. Click on the title to find the exact record and holdings of the print edition in OSCAR. Those titles without a Library of Congress call number are serials that are received directly in the Journalism Library and are not cataloged. These are usually kept for up to two years in the Journalism Library before they are discarded.

Ask at the Circulation Desk or call the Journalism Library at 292-8747 if you have further questions
