Indexes journals, books, and dissertations in American history and culture from pre-colonial times to the present.  Not good for very current literature.

 

Writings on American History.  (Publisher varies).   1906-1990   (Z1236G85, Z1236W7931985 in SUL Ref)

Throughout most of the years since 1906 the bibliography appeared annually and was arranged by subject with a subject index.  Recent editions cover several years and include only an author index.

 

Dissertation Abstracts International  1861-present
