Indexes journals, books, and dissertations in world history beginning about the year 1450 to the present.  Consult for more complete search on US relations with other countries.   This index is not good for finding very current literature.   For the most recent articles check Humanities Index and Arts and Humanities Citation Index.

 

International Bibliography of Periodical Literature (IBZ)1983-  Includes historical literature in scholarly western language publications, particularly in English, German, and French.  Library owns older paper indexes back to 1897 at SUL Library (1897-1983).

 

ISI Web of Knowledge (Web of Science)  1980-present
Indexes thousands of journals in the Arts and Humanities, Science, and Social Sciences.  Search by author or keywords.  Also search for articles that cite important publications in their bibliographies to find related works.
