Becoming a member of Friends is easy. You can call, fax, or e-mail our office to request an application brochure which will be sent out to you the same day your request is received.
You may also download a PDF application brochure that can be printed from your computer.
An individual membership is $45 for a full year of benefits. OSU Students are welcome to join for $10 with a student ID. Once you return the application form with your credit card number, check or money order, your membership card will be mailed promptly back to you. You may also stop by our office to fill out the application and receive your membership card on the spot.

Your Friends membership card includes a subscription to our newsletter, use of the Libraries' catalog, use of the Alumni Online Library database, invitations to Friends events, and access to "Friends' Preview Night" for a first viewing of the books in our biannual book sales. To acquire borrowing privileges of library materials, you simply need to present your Friends membership card at the Circulation Desk in the Main Library, and you will be issued your courtesy card for checking out books.
