About Friends of the OSU LibrariesThe Friends of the OSU Libraries is a volunteer and membership organization committed to raising awareness and funding in support of the University Libraries. Friends' donations, memberships, and volunteer time are invested in many activities to promote the Libraries on campus and in the community. When you join the Friends, you help to insure the continued quality of the services and resources of our Libraries. The Friends are nearing the conclusion of the fundraising efforts in support of the William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library Renovation Campaign. The Friends Board of Directors has pledged a $250,000 gift to the campaign and your Friends' membership and individual contribution are essential to reaching our goal. Your membership also plays a vital role in the preservation and conservation of books. Over a half million items in the University Libraries are on the "endangered" list and are in need of immediate repair. Support for preservation comes from the Rudolph Preservation Endowment and the Friends of the Libraries Endowment. As a Friend of the OSU Libraries, you receive:
