AccuNet/AP Multimedia Archive  
AccuNet/AP Multimedia Archive is a collection of pictures, graphics, text, and audio from the Associated Press. The Associated Press print negative archive contains over 50 million photographs.

Art Abstracts     
Indexes some 268 English-language publications, as well as periodicals published in other languages.

ARTstor     
A repository of hundreds of thousands of digital images and related data; the tools to actively use those images; and a restricted usage environment that seeks to balance the rights of content providers with the needs and interests of content users.

Bibliography of the History of Art   
Covering European and American art from late antiquity to the present, the Bibliography of the History of Art indexes and abstracts art-related books, conference proceedings and dissertations, exhibition and dealer's catalogs, and articles from more than 2,500 periodicals.

Design and Applied Arts Index       
Design & Applied Arts Index currently contains over 130,000 annotated references from more than 500 design and craft journals published since 1973 with most articles from 1987 to present, and data on over 50,000 designers, craftspeople, studios, workshops, firms etc., making the largest database of its kind in the world.

Digital Media Center (OhioLINK)   
The OhioLINK Digital Media Center is comprised of several components:

    * Art and Architecture Images: images from Gardner's Art Through the Ages, Stokstad's history of hart, Hartt's History of Italian Renaissance Art and the AMICO Library which includes works from more than 25 museums in North America.

    * Digital Video Collection: As of June 2, 2003 there are 380+ videos which cover a wide variety of subjects.

    * Foreign Language Videos: Video clips in which native speakers elaborate on a wide variety of topics in their culture.

    * Historic and Archival Images: Images from the Ohio University Dept. of Archives and Special Collections, Kent State Shootings: Oral Histories, Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center, and Wright Brothers collection at the Wright State University Libraries' Special Collections and Archives.   

    * Social Studies: Digited squeezes (accurate paper impressions) of Greek and Latin incriptions contributed by the Ohio State University Center for Epigraphical and Palaeographical Studies and 500+ imiages of Mayan archaeology contributed by Oberlin College.
     
Digital Video Collection (OhioLINK)         

The Digital Video Collection contains 872 videos which cover a wide variety of subjects. Approximately 1000 unique titles were purchased from the distributor Films for the Humanities and Sciences. 

EBSCOHost Databases
EBSCOhost offers a variety of proprietary full text databases and popular databases from leading information providers.

   
*Academic Search Premier world’s largest academic multi-disciplinary database, provides full text for nearly      4,650 serials, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles.

    *Humanities International Complete provides full text of hundreds of journals, books and other published sources from around the world.

    *MasterFILE Premier provides full text for more than 1,700 general reference publications with full text information dating as far back as 1975.

FRANCIS    
FRANCIS covers a wide range of multilingual, multidisciplinary information in the humanities, social sciences, and economics.

Grove Art Online         
Contains 45,000 articles on every aspect of the visual arts painting, sculpture, graphic arts, architecture, decorative arts and photography from prehistory to the present day.

Index of Christian Art 
The largest database of medieval art with full-text records for over 23,000 works of art dating from early apostolic times to A.D. 1400. Over 20,000 bibliographic records support these records on works of art.

Index to 19th Century American Art       
Indexes 42 art journals published in the US during the 19th century, providing nearly complete coverage of journals from this period.

ISI Citation Databases         
Provides access to all three citation indexes which can be searched individually or as one file.

    * Arts & Humanities Citation Index indexes 1,100 of the world's leading arts and humanities journals.

    * Science Citation Index Expanded indexes 5,300 major journals across 164 scientific disciplines.

    * The Social Sciences Citation Index indexes 1,700 journals spanning 50 disciplines.

SCIPIO      
Describes art auction and rare book catalogs for sales from the late sixteenth century to scheduled auctions not yet held.  Records include the dates and places of sales, the auction houses, sellers, institutional holdings, and titles of works.
