Patron Information
Appointments:
Visitors are encouraged to call in advance (614-688-8173). This
enables the BPRCAP staff to assemble the materials before you arrive
and render your visit more efficient.
Parking and
Directions:
The Byrd Polar Research Center Archival Program is located in the
University Archives/Book Depository Building at 2700 Kenny Road.
The University Archives has metered
parking spaces available (25 cents for 15 minutes) for patrons
without a University parking pass. A $3 all-day parking pass can
also be purchased for those who plan to spend more time doing
research.
Photocopying Policy:
All photocopying is done by the BPRCAP staff due to the uniqueness
and condition of the material. The staff member will provide
instructions for tagging pages to be photocopied. Researchers assume
responsibility for compliance with U.S. copyright laws.
When photocopying is done for patrons who request information
over the telephone or by e-mail, if more than 10 pages are copied to
be mailed or faxed, the charge is 25 cents per page.
Photographic Reprints:
Photographic reprints can be obtained. Payment is required in
advance. Please contact us for further information regarding cost.

Use Application.
Payment:
Credit cards, personal checks, money orders, or University 100-W in
the exact amount payable to "O.S.U. Libraries" are preferred.

Hours:
The reference room is open: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m.-12:00
p.m. and 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. The Archives is closed during
University holidays. Hours are subject to change. Please call to
confirm that the reference room will be open. |
