THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY ORAL HISTORY PROGRAM

This program is administered by The Ohio State University.  The purpose is to document the history of The Ohio State University by interviewing important faculty members and administrators.  Ultimately, the goal is to collect information that is unavailable in traditional print sources and to preserve the history of the university for future generations of researchers.

The products of the interviews – tapes, abstracts, transcripts, etc. – are the property of The Ohio State University Archives.  Individual tapes and transcripts will become available to researchers as they are completed and a list of individuals with links to abstracts will be placed on this web site.

Abstracts are based on the transcripts and include a summary section, leading themes, and individuals mentioned.  For more information, please contact the University Archives.  Full transcripts for some oral histories are available through the links below, or directly through OSU's Knowledge Bank.
