Gurnah, Abdulrazak. 1948 -
Gurnah teaches literature at the University of Kent in Britain. Has been associate editoe of Wasafiri. Three of his novels have been shortlisted for the Booker Prize (Paradise in 1994), L.A. Times Book Prize (By the Sea in 2001), and the 2006 Commomwealth Writers, Eurasia Region for Desertion.
