| Stephen Abram, MLS, is the President-elect of SLA and the past-President of the Canadian Library Association and Vice President Innovation for SirsiDynix and Chief Strategist for the SirsiDynix Institute. He has been VP of Corporate Development for Micromedia ProQuest and Publisher Electronic Information for Thomson. He ran libraries for Suncor, Coopers & Lybrand, Smith Lyons Torrance Stevenson and Mayer and Hay Group. Stephen has been listed by Library Journal as one of their first "Mover and Shakers", the ’key’ people influencing the future of libraries and librarianship. He has been awarded SLA's John Cotton Dana Award as well as being a Fellow of the SLA. He was Canadian Special Librarian of the Year and Alumni of the Year for the Faculty of Information Studies at the University of Toronto. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Information Studies. He was President 2002 of the Ontario Library Association as well as sitting on the SLA Board of Directors as Director and Secretary. He gives over 90 international keynote talks annually to library and information industry conferences and writes articles and columns for Information Outlook, Feliciter, Access, Multimedia & Internet @ Schools, and Library Journal.

| Steven J. Bell is Associate University Librarian for Research and Instructional Services at Temple University. Prior to that he was Director of the Paul J. Gutman Library at Philadelphia University from 1997 to 2006. He earned his Doctorate in Education at the University of Pennsylvania, and the MLS at Drexel University. He writes and speaks frequently on topics such as information retrieval, library and learning technologies, and academic librarianship. An Adjunct Professor at the Drexel University College of Information Science and Technology, he teaches courses in academic librarianship and information retrieval. He maintains a Web site and Weblog, “Steven Bell’s Keeping Up Web Site” and “The Kept-Up Academic Librarian”, that promote current awareness skills and resources. Steven is a co-founder of the Blended Librarian’s Online Learning Community on the Learning Times Network and has participated in numerous virtual presentations. He blogs for ACRLog, ACRL’s official Weblog, and began a new blog this year called Designing Better Libraries. For additional information about Steven J. | Chad F. Boeninger is the Reference & Instruction Technology Coordinator at Ohio University's Alden Library. In in his role he serves as a reference librarian, the Business and Economics Bibliographer and the assistant web manager. He is the creator of the Biz Wiki and the Business Blog, and is the administrator of several other library blogs and wikis. He has presented and written about a variety of web 2.0 and library technology tools such as wikis, blogs, instant messaging, open source software, podcasting, gaming, and social software. He thoroughly enjoys sharing and learning with others, and in doing so is constantly striving to make the library a viable resource for years to come. Chad shares his thoughts and ideas about libraries and technology on his blog, Library Voice.

| Lorcan Dempsey is the Vice President and Chief Strategist at OCLC. Before moving to OCLC Lorcan worked for JISC in the UK, overseeing national information programs and services. He is a librarian who has worked for library and educational organizations in Ireland, England and the US. He has consulted for the EU, and national policy and service organizations in several countries.Lorcan has policy, research and service development experience, mostly in the area of networked information and digital libraries. He writes <http://www.oclc.org/research/staff/dempsey/publications.htm> and speaks <http://www.oclc.org/research/staff/dempsey/presentations.htm> extensively, and can be followed on the web at Lorcan Dempsey's weblog <http://orweblog.oclc.org> . He is currently a member of the NISO Board and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

| Ellyssa Kroski is a Reference Librarian for Columbia University as well as an independent Information Consultant and national conference speaker. She has been working with Information and Internet technologies for over 10 years and specializes in Web 2.0 technology. She is currently writing a book for Neal-Schuman Publishers about Web 2.0 technology and libraries. Ellyssa teaches professional development seminars at a library consortium in New York City and writes a successful blog called InfoTangle. She is a member of an international library honor society, and holds an MLIS from Long Island University.

Brian S. Mathews is an information services librarian at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is the subject liaison for Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, and is the coordinator for distance learning support services. Brian frequently presents and publishes on the library applications of social web technologies, and chronicles his experiments on his blog The Ubiquitous Librarian (http://theubiquitouslibrarian.typepad.com).

| Eric Schnell is an Associate Professor and Head of Information Technology at the Prior Health Sciences Library at The Ohio State University. Holding an M.L.S. from the University at Buffalo, he has spent the last 16 years working in academic medical libraries as a reference librarian, technology facilitator, and as a manager of networked services. He has presented at library conferences locally, nationally, and internationally in the area of technology and libraries and writes on these topics in is blog The Medium is the Message ( http://ericschnell.blogspot.com <http://ericschnell.blogspot.com/>). In 2005, Schnell was named a Library Journal "Mover and Shaker" and has been involved with two projects which have won the Medical Library Association's ISI/Frank Bradway Rogers Information Advancement Award. He was a National Library of Medicine Medical Informatics Fellow (Woods Hole, MA) in 2003. He is an open source advocate and has taught the topic online for The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, School of Information and Library Science.

| Ken Varnum has been working with digital information technologies since he became a librarian in 1994. In April 2007, he became Web Systems Manager at the University of Michigan libraries in Ann Arbor, where his job involves all aspects of the libraries’ web sites. From 2004-2007, he was Associate Librarian and IT Manager at the Edwin Ginn Library at The Fletcher School, Tufts University’s graduate program in international relations, where he worked on a number of digital information projects and teams with colleagues from other Tufts libraries. Before coming to the Ginn Library in 2004, Ken spent seven years at the Ford Motor Company library in Michigan managing the library’s intranet sites and web-based information services. Ken received a dual Master’s in Information & Library Science and Russian Studies from the University of Michigan in 1994 and a dual BA in History and Russian language from Grinnell College in 1989.
