What's a Subject Specialist?
A Subject Specialist is a Tenured Faculty Librarian who specializes in a specific field of study and provides a level of expertise in that field that may not be available through a more general librarian.

Subject Specialists are responsible for providing concise and detailed information for library users about their area of study. They bring their expertise to the development of the libraries' collection, by seeking and gathering the best books, journals and database materials covering their specialty. They work with the University's teaching departments to support classroom study as well as research and discovery of new information in their field, and
They provide for you, the library patron, the best in assistance that has ever been available.
