3	the first one appears by his preface to the
4	gentle reader not having been intended
5	to have been published, "it never having
6	been my mind nor intente that it should
7	ever have been imprinted at all as
8	who for no such purpose toke upon me
9	at the first the translation thereof
10	but did it only at the request
11	of a friend upon hope that he
12	would have kept it secret to
13	himself alone, who though
14	I knew to be a man in dede
15	both very wittie and also skilful
16	yet was I certé that in the
17	knowledge of the Latin tonge
18	he was not so well sene as
19	to be hable to judge of the
20	fineness or coarseness of my
21	translation & to the meannesse
