PREFACE TNA36 contains the observed and calculated positions of the line series evaluated in the paper: The Fundamental Vibrations of NC-CC-CN (Dicyanoacetylene) by F.Winther and M.Schoenhoff, Institut fuer Physikalische Chemie der Universitaet Kiel, D-24098 Kiel, Germany, - published in J.Mol.Spectrosc. 186, 54-65 (1998). All values given in the following tables are in cm-1. The quantum number M used is equal to -J" for P branches and to J"+1 for R branches. Where l-type doubled series are resolved, the usual e,f notation is used. For unresolved low J lines the same wavenumber is used in the calculation of both series. The relative intensities (INT) given in the tables are of limited significance because of overlapping of the line series as described in the paper. On top of each of the tables the label from Table 2 of the paper are given for identification, together with a description of the transition. (The same labels are used as file identifiers on the floppy disk.) For convenience of the authors the original file labels are also retained as C:\WINTHER\SCHOEN\ASGN..... in most tables. The page numbers in the list below refer to the printed version of the tables.
