The Office Administration Sub-series consists of three cubic feet of records dating from 1975 to 1998.  The sub-series contains materials pertaining to the operation and function of the offices maintained by Senator Glenn in Washington, D.C. and at various locations in Ohio.  Included are files of inter-office memoranda, agendas and minutes of staff meetings, a policy and procedure manual, listings of staff members, and information on staff organization, assignments, and duties.  In addition, the sub-series contains printouts of the various pages located within the web site maintained by the Washington, D.C. office during the late 1990s.

Approximately one cubic foot of the sub-series consists of an extensive library of form letters used to reply to routine letters from school children, adults, and groups requesting general information on Senator Glenn.  The form letters cover such topics as Glenn's experience in space, his favorite things, and his military career.  Other form letters in the library are congratulatory in nature and were used by staff to note such special occasions or events of constituents as retirements, anniversaries, and promotions.  An index to the form letters is located within the sub-series.
