Using Library Catalogs
A library catalog is a database of records representing books, journals, media, government documents, and other print and online materials held by a particular library or group of libraries, such as OhioLINK. The catalog may be searched by title, subject, author, keyword. See the list of library catalogs for details.
Using Research Databases
The Libraries provides access to hundreds of research databases (also called subscription databases because there is a fee for use). Many research databases include the full-text of resources so that you may read them online. Some are multi-disciplinary in focus and others are more specialized. See the complete list of research databases for details.
Using Web Search Tools
There are three distinct types of search tools that are freely available on the Web: Web directories, Web indexes (also called search engines), and specialized Web databases.
Get Connected
Here you will find help for connecting to library resources from off campus, printing in the library, and using OSU Wireless, which is available in the Libraries.
