Chicago Manual of Style Notes-Bibliography System Style Guide
This guide is based on The Chicago Manual of Style 16th ed. (University of Chicago Press, 2010). Examples are shown for the Notes-Bibliography system recommended for literature, history, and the arts. Bibliography items are listed alphabetically at the end of the research paper. Notes (footnotes or endnotes) citations are placed in the body of the paper.
