How Do I?

Import Citations from the OSU Library Catalog to RefWorks
From the Search Results list:
Check the box next to each record you want to import.
Click
Save Marked Records
.
The Catalog Redisplays:
The records you checked will no longer be checked.
Click
Export Saved.
On the Export Saved Screen
Click
Full Display
.
Click
Local Disk
.
Click
Submit
.
On the File Download Window
Click
Save
In the Save As Box:
Choose a location to save the file.
The default name for your file is
export
. You can rename this file if you want to.
Change Save as type to
Text File (.txt)
Click
Save.
Import References from the OSU Library Catalog Into RefWorks
Connect to the
OSU Libraries RefWorks
. Then Enter your OSU Username and Password. The RefWorks Login Page will appear:
Enter your RefWorks
Log-in Name and Password
.
Click
Login
.
Pull-down the References Menu and Select Import.
On the Import Form:
Pull-down the
Import Filter/Data Source
menu and select
Innovative Interfaces INNOPAC
.
Pull-down the
Database
menu and select
OhioLINK Library Catalog (Full Display)
Click
Browse
and locate your saved downloaded records.
Click
Import.
Click View Last Imported Folder.
On the Last Imported Folder Page:
Check boxes beside citations.
Pull-down
Put In Folder
menu and select folder.
Managing and Searching Your RefWorks Files
Click the
Help
link in the RefWorks toolbar for information about searching and sorting your citations or about creating and organizing your folders.
