Things to Keep in Mind......
- Library instruction should be prearranged well in advance for room availability and resource access
- Understand the complexity of campus parking
- A visitors BuckID card is needed to use library copiers and printers (coins and money are not accepted)
- Visitors are assigned to a name and password for computer access
- Teachers should provide clear objectives/lesson plans to tailor specific needs for their students
- We can also visit your classroom!

- Academic libraries are different from high school and public libraries...WE ARE BIG!
- Know Your A,B,C's and 1,2,3's (LC vs. Dewey)
- Be familiar with citation styles for, example APA
- Know how to evaluate sources and think critically
- Be familiar with scholarly journals and databases
- Research is a process
- Everything is not on the web or Google
