How to Request eReserves Service for your course(s):
- Fill out the MS Excel request form (below) with a citation for each item you wish to place on eReserve in Carmen and send a copy of the form to our office email address. Note: items without complete citations (including page numbers) will not be processed.
- Deliver the materials to our office. We can accept good quality photocopies, Word, PowerPoint, RTF, JPEG, BMP, TIFF, Adobe PDF files and can link to any webpage with a stable URL.
- Instructors are responsible for providing complete and legible copies for our office to scan. Please check any of your paper copies for "missing pages" or "cut off" pages. We will scan the materials provided and we will try to notify you if we discover a problem.
- Digital files may be submitted on CD, flash drive or emailed as an attachment to our office email account. Digital files submitted must be of a reasonable size (contact eReserves Office if in doubt).
- Materials submitted are on a first come, first serve basis.
- Please submit all course materials 2-3 weeks before the beginning of the semester.
- Materials submitted less than 2-3 weeks before the beginning of a semester might not be up by the first day of classes.
- Materials can be added to your course throughout the semester. Please allow time for the copyright clearance process to occur.
- eReserves service operates on a semester by semester basis, therefore course requests need to be submitted every semester for any class.
- COPYRIGHT: If you have questions about how much of a work can be included in your eReserves - please consult a copyright management specialist at (614) 688-5849.
