Information for Eric Johnson
Dr. Eric J. Johnson is Curator of Early Books and Manuscripts at The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. He is responsible for all aspects of collection development, reference, instruction and public programming in relation to the Library’s medieval, Renaissance and Early Modern holdings. He is also The Ohio State University Libraries’ liaison to the University’s Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies and teaches regularly in the Center’s various course offerings. Eric’s research interests include medieval manuscript studies, vernacular theology in the Middle Ages, book history (in all its forms), pedagogical uses of primary source materials, and military propaganda produced for children. He received his MLIS from Rutgers University and holds a M.A. and Ph.D. from the Centre for Medieval Studies, University of York (U.K.).
