Here are all the tools that you will need to find great information. We've broken them down for you like this:
Materials: Find books and other materials you need. Look for articles on a particular topic in magazines, journals and newspapers by using a research database. Some datebases will take you directly to the complete article; others will provide you with the information you need to find the article in print. You can also browse e-journals to find locate specific articles.
Course Reserves: Carmen is Ohio State's online course management system, which is used by instructors, staff, and teaching assistants to create and share materials. Students can search for reserve materials set aside for use by a class by either the name of the course or the name of the instructor.
Interlibrary Services: Interlibrary Services supports scholarly research by borrowing materials not available in either the OSU or OhioLINK catalogs, and scanning and delivering articles electronically from OSU and non-OSU journal collections.
Collections: Groups of materials of OSUL materials. These can be by location, by source, by provenance, by size. They are arranged in a tree, so one collection can be a part of a larger collection.
Subjects: Here you can find suggested resources for specific areas of study. Each one of these pages is created a Subject Librarian of our staff, helping you to find great information both within and outside of OSUL's materials.
Off-Campus Sign In: If you are trying to access certain online materials from outside the campus network, you will be prompted to sign in. We've put some technology in place to do this automatically, but if it hasn't worked for you, plesae click this link. If that doesn't work please let us know at the Webmaster Mail form.
