How do I search for an item?

Enter a title, subject, or person and click "search." You may also perform an advanced search by clicking the link below the search box.

Refine your search:

After your search is completed, you can refine your search using the left toolbar. This allows you to refine searches by author, content, format, language, year, topic, etc.

How do I get a book?

To get a book, click the link from the search page to display the information about the book. Under "Get this item" you can see the copies available at Ohio State libraries. Simply click the box "Request Item." If the item is not available at an OSU library, you can request it through another library via Ohio Link. Ohio Link can deliver the item to any OSU library for you to pick up.

How do I get articles?

To get articles from a search topic, simply click the "article" link under the heading "format" in the "Refine Your Search" toolbar.

How do I save a book list?

On the information page about an item, you can save that item to a book list you create or one that already exists. To do this, select which list you wish to save the item to, then click "save." If you have not already created an account you will need to do so in order to save book lists.

How can I cite a resource?

From the resource's information page, simply click on "cite this item" under the title and details about the item. From here a new window will open listing the resource in many different citation formats. You can also export the item to EndNote and RefWorks.
