Automatic linking to articles stored in OhioLINKs e‑journal center and published post-October, 2009 is now restored. As in the past, however, these links are only updated once per month. Therefore, automatic linking for very recent articles is usually not immediately available. The problem that caused a several-month delay, however, has been resolved.
As always, these articles are available through OhioLINKs e-journal center, however, the linking from ISI, SciFinder, etc. is not working. Most e-articles for which we hold a subscription can also be accessed directly through the publishers’ sites (ACS, RSC, Elsevier, Wiley, Springer). For publishers who do not allow direct access, recent articles can be obtained by using the library’s e‑journal search mechanism and linking directly to OhioLINKs e‑journal center: http://nf4hr2ve4v.search.serialssolutions.com/

The limited access to ISI reported on Friday 1/22 has been restored to full access. This appears to have been a sporadic problem that ISI has resolved.
January 26th, 2010
For unknown reasons, as of Friday 1/22 we have temporarily lost OSU’s premium access to ISI backfiles (1965-80). We continue to have access to the default OhioLINK coverage of 1980-forward. ISI has been contacted and prompt renewal of access this important data is expected.

OARnet system engineers will be performing planned maintenance on network hardware that will require an approximate 5 minute outage. The interruption in service will effect all OhioLINK services and will occur sometime between midnight and 2:00am on Tuesday morning January 12th.

Automatic linking to articles stored in OhioLINKs e‑journal center and published post-October, 2009 is not functioning. (These articles are available through OhioLINKs e-journal center, however, the linking from ISI, SciFinder, etc. is not working.) OhioLINK is working to resolve this problem, but until the problem is resolved the linking will be on a delayed basis.
As always, many e-articles can be accessed directly through the publishers’ sites (ACS, RSC, Elsevier, Wiley, Springer). For publishers who do not allow direct access, recent articles can be obtained by using the library’s e‑journal search mechanism and linking directly to OhioLINKs e‑journal center: http://nf4hr2ve4v.search.serialssolutions.com/
