In 2007, the Fourth Assessment Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change was released and it dealt with the scientific basis for climate change, the consequences of emissions, the mitigation of these problems and possible adaptations for the future. April’s Science Cafe presenter, OSU-Marion Physicist Gordon Aubrecht, will outline the main results of the world scientific consensus on climate change and what that will mean for our future. Please join us for this spirited, enlightening, and informative look at a most pressing issue.

As of July 18, 2007, the shift at SEL has been completed. The third floor is completely empty of books and journals. Since the 18th of July, we have been condensing volumes within the compact stacks to make room for more books and journals from our final, clean-up Boolean. This final list should catch most of the volumes which may have been missed the first time around.

We have started the shift of the SEL stacks materials, call numbers QD through QR from the third floor to the fourth floor. As of 4:00 P.M., we have moved QD1 through QD1 A54 and QP601 C47 through QR187 I45. This move should be completed by the middle of next week.

All of the SEL stacks QCs have been moved from the third to the second floor. In the next few days, the move of SEL stacks materials QD through QR from the third to the fourth floor will begin.

All of the SEL stacks QCs have been moved from the third to the second floor except QC173 A1 A323 through QC 173.4 C65 I44. We hope to have these moved to the second floor by the end of the day Friday, July 6.
The shift of the SEL stacks QD through QR call numbers from the third floor to the fourth floor should start early next week.
