Susan Hanson (M.A., Comparative Studies in the Humanities; PhD Candidate, Ohio State University) is the Academic Program Coordinator and Assistant Program Director for Literacy Studies. She is also a lecturer in the departments of English and Comparative Studies. Her course topics include folklore and performance studies; urban and suburban culture; reading and writing (auto)ethnography; and qualitative research theory and practice. She studies the aesthetics of everyday life and is currently working on a dissertation on life in an old suburb.
