Everything you need to know about the OSUL Website redesign, in three easily digestible documents! Some of this may look familiar, as it has been presented in this blog in similar fashion, but some of it is brand new. We hope that these three documents serve as guides to using one of the primary communication tools of the OSU Libraries: our website. The website is intended to describe and promote the tools, services and materials that we offer, help instruct and guide our patrons, and help those seeking information about our organization. These documents are going to accompany the training that the Training Team will be providing, and hopefully serve as ongoing guides to great web publishing.
Bon Appetite!
This document explains how your information will fit into the new OSUL website. If after reading this and the associated documents, if you have questions, you are welcome to contact the OSUL Communications Department (Communications) or the Web Implementation Team (WIT).
OSUL Website Page Type User Interface
This document describes each of the specialized Page Types that are found in the OSUL Website. It describes the goal of each type and the general information that it requires to complete it.
This document condenses an entire profession (copywriting) to a single double-sided page. It gives us a place to start thinking about how to write copy for your pages, keeping in mind Audience, Purpose and Relevance.
