Requesting materials in July

June 29th, 2009

Books from ACKERMAN library: If you need a book from the Libraries’ Thompson or Ackerman stacks collection, please request it online for delivery to your office or another library for pickup

Journals moving to THOMPSON now! Journals from 3 libraries are being moved to the Thompson Library and interfiled there. At this time, journals with call numbers A-K are getting shelved in Thompson—-and in early July, L-Z call numbers will be moved.

Here’s how you can get access to what you need:

You can request an article be scanned through our Article Express Service or contact Sue Rahnema, to arrange for a volume you need to brought to SUL for use.

Maps, Microforms and International Studies: Maps, microfilm and international studies material are available at the Ackerman Library by appointment prior to their being moved to Thompson later in July. Please contact the appropriate subject librarian or Steve Rogers, 688-8774, for assistance.

Sullivant Reference Collection Moved
The Sullivant Library Reference collection has been moved to the Thompson Grand Reading Room, a few weeks earlier than previously planned. If you need access to an item in this collection, please contact Sarah Murphy, 247-7236, Thompson Library Room 221A.

We appreciate your patience as we prepare the collection for the opening of the Thompson Library in early August.
