Sam Milai Digital Exhibit
Artist and cartoonist Sam Milai’s work is featured in the Libraries’ newest digital exhibit. Sam Milai ( March 23, 1908-April 30, 1970) was an artist and cartoonist for the Pittsburgh Courier for 33 years. Thompson Library Being Prepped for Opening
The renovation of the William Oxley Thompson Memorial Library is complete, and collections, furnishings and equipment are being moved back into the building in preparation for a late summer 2009 opening. See the Renovation site for photos of the building and information on opening plans.
