Wha’cha gonna do? November 2-4
November 2nd, 2007
Bee Movie opened today! I’m jazzed! And all the movies at the Drexel Gateway this weekend sound good as well. Sports fans can go watch the OSU/Wisconson game at the Drexel Gateway and then go see whatever movie is playing immediately afterwards.
It’s that time again. Gallery Hop runs from 4-10pm on Saturday. High lights include Adam Brouillette’s Partytime! opening at the Ohio Art League from 6-9pm, Roy G Biv Gallery’s exhibit of Joe Wirtheim posters (reception 7-10) and Take 2 Apparel’s group exhibit Hollywood Legends.
My 3rd favorite craft show takes place this weekend. The Clintonville Women’s Club Bazaar takes place at 3951 High St. (just north of the Whetstone Branch of the public library) from 8:30am-3pm Saturday. I buy something every year. One year I bought a painting of goldfish in a bowl painted by a member of their ‘Rembrandt Club’ painting group.
The Riffe Gallery (77 S. High St.) is featuring the group exhibit New Horizons: Rewards of Time and Place. 3 of the artists are OSU art department faculty members Laura Lisbon, Mary Jo Bole and Todd Slaughter.
There a really cool event taking place on Sunday at the Central Ohio Diabetes Association at 1100 Dennison Ave. The Fall Celebration for Children with Diabetes is a free event that includes a sugar-free trick-or-treat, games and all-around good-times.
Have a good one! Gretchen
