The Jewish Studies Reading Room contains reference materials and current periodicals dealing with Old Testament and Talmudic studies, Jewish history including the modern State of Israel, and Judaic languages and literatures. Most books and bound journals on these subjects are in the stacks near the reading room.
Access to the Jewish Studies collection can be obtained through the Library's online catalog OSCAR. The following bibliographies include listings in Hebrew and Yiddish. In order to display the Hebrew script, you need to down load Hebrew fonts and install them on your computer.
We are developing the Lexicon of Modern Hebrew Literature (in Hebrew) -- for more information visit the Lexicon's Blog
This office also maintains the Ha-Safran mailing list for the Association of Jewish Libraries. Submissions for Ha-Safran should be sent to hasafran@lists.osu.edu; commands to SUBscribe or SIGNOFF should be sent to Listproc@lists.osu.edu
